Canada’s Parliament Building built between 1859 and 1906, is one of the most significant heritage structures in Canada. RJW was honoured to be chosen to be a part of this prestigious project.
Investigative contract to determine the internal stability of the walls of this huge structure. The work area covered the whole side and inside corner of the main entrance from top to bottom.
Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful buildings in the country, this architectural icon was first constructed in 1876. RJW meticulously and completely restored it so that generation to come could enjoy this precious Canadian jewel.
The huge front façade and wing walls of the Governor General’s official residence were completely cleaned and repointed. Selective demolition and reconstruction was carried out using new stone, and seismic anchors were installed.
